Informatics Nurse Job: The Informatics Nurse Specialist will be
responsible for health care clinical application systems. While
working informatics nurse jobs, the Informatics Nurse will serve
as a resource and liaison between Nursing Management and Information
System Department. The Informatics Nurse will participate in the
analysis, modification, training and problem resolution for new
clinical applications systems. The Informatics Nurse will participate
in the planning and coordination of clinical information system
projects. While working informatics nurse jobs, the Informatics
Nurse will be involved in the planning for systems selections,
implementation, and systems integrations training and support.
The informatics Nurse must demonstrate strong leadership skills
with direct interface with clinical departments, applications
and service vendors for additional IT resources.

Jobs include analysis, implementation, modification, training
and problem resolution for new and existing clinical application
systems. While working informatics nurse jobs, the Informatics
Nurse serves as a consultant, resource, advocate and liaison
to nursing management and staff in the areas of computer applications
and computer training. Informatics Nurse provides the skills
and tools to support planning, coordination, communication,
project management, implementation, and problem resolution relating
to clinical information systems. Informatics Nurses coordinate
between clinical departments, application and service vendors,
and other Information Technology resources both internal and
external. The Informatics Nurse supports the mission, values,
and goals of the organization, and performs all duties in a
manner which promotes a healthy team concept, excellent customer
service and best practices. Informatics Nurses escalate critical
issues to the Director of Information Technology. Clients of
Information Technology span multiple specialties including various
hospital departments, physicians, clinics, and other strategic
partners.
